A Night to Celebrate Legends

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, 5-0 Studios London is proud to present its Lifetime Achievement Award to two of the most impactful voices in the performing arts: Windy Barnes and Robert J. Carmack. This special event will take place at the historic Roscoe Jazz Lounge in Long Beach, California — an evening of live music, love, and legacy.

Windy Barnes

Vocalist, actress, producer, and founder of Windy City Entertainment — Windy Barnes has spent decades lighting up stages across the globe. From her early church solos in Chicago to touring with Stevie Wonder and Michael Bolton, her voice has carried generations. A passionate arts educator and fierce advocate for women in music, Windy’s influence echoes through her international voice academy, community festivals, and award-winning performances. Her journey is one of talent, tenacity, and global impact.

Robert J. Carmack

Renowned jazz historian, actor, musician, writer, and co-founder of the Paul Robeson Players — Robert J. Carmack has devoted more than sixty years to elevating Black culture through art. A Vietnam-era USO performer, former publicist to music legends like Bobby Womack and McCoy Tyner, and creator of more than 30 jazz tribute productions, Robert has helped preserve the soul of jazz for future generations. As a visionary behind the upcoming 10-part series THANKFUL (New Winans Family film series), he continues to make history through storytelling and cultural preservation.
